AUCTION SALE of household goods/equine/tools/unwanted gifts/any other items!

Canolfan Ceiriog intends to hold and auction Saturday 4th March to start at 6.30pm. I you have any unwanted furniture, tools, equine items, gifts, goods of any kind you can either donate it to Canolfan Ceiriog or we will sell it for you on the night for 20% commission. Minimum commission 1 Maximum commission 20. Items will be accepted Friday 3rd March between 6.30om and 8.30pm. or pn the day of auction 2.30pm - 4.30pm. Items registered before Monday 28th February will be entered into the online facebook catalogue for pre - browsing. Items can be viewed on the day from 5.30pm. Trevor Bates will be Auctioneer and we are raising funds for our local community centre so please spread the word! Items can be put forward now email trevor077@btinternet.com or 01691 718 294. We are holding a "Pamper & Play" Day for mum's n kids here at Canolfan to raise money for the Nightingale House Hospice. 2 per child with Bouncy Castle, Ride-ons, soft play area etc. Stalls to browse and a beauty treatment room for mum's to have a few minutes of spoiling to enjoy! Christmas Fair with Santa 10am - 2pm Saturday 25th March at Canolfan Ceiriog Centre. Santa will be in his grotto from 10am with gifts for all ages, Cafe will be open for Bacon or Sausage Baps, Mulled Wine, Mince Pies and refreshments. Plenty of locally created crafts and gifts to browse, massive variety of stalls, christmas themed competitions, tombola and huge Christmas Raffle.

Quiz Night for Cylch Meithrin 7.30pm

Quiz night raising funds for Cylch Meithrin - Glyn Ceiriog Playgroup with quizmaster Joanne Evans. Doors open 7pm, bums on seats 7.30pm to start 8pm. Raffle to be drawn half time. 2 per person to enter, teams of 4-6 people. Canolfan will be serving Hot Food: Jacket Potatoes with choice of fillings, Chilli, pitta/Tortilla chips, Veggie Burgers. Dress Up for Christmas! Tickets on sale now call 01691 718 200! Deep in the dark woods a wood cutter and his daughter are getting ready for Christmas. They have so little food and money that the wood cutter decides to leave his daughter and go into the city to see what other work he can get to pay for some seasonal cheer. When he has gone, his daughter Olive who is brave and adventurous decides she will not stay on her own in the woods so she heads off into the city to find her father. Once in the city Olive finds the shops and businesses where her father may have been and the whole adventure unfolds with hat juggling in Fat Cat Hats, China plate spinning at The Hairy Pear Cafe and opera at the Pig in a Wig shop. The story ends with a Christmas feast at the palace and acrobatics on the table! This hugely energetic Christmas show is magically told by a story telling giant Grande Dame and the whole adventure unfolds from her sumptuous dress. There is lots of audience participation and something for every age group in Dress up for Christmas by Circo Rum Ba Ba.
